Platforms lifts

Low rise platform lifts (also known as ‘step lifts’) are ideal for those situations where space is an issue and/or the required height rise would result in significant ramping for the client to access their home. Platform lifts are also an excellent option within the home for internal access challenges.

They offer a cost effective and easy to use solution to providing access into and within private residences and commercial properties. Being battery powered (battery is continuously charged from mains power), Pandect lifts are inexpensive to run costing less than the cost of power to run a standard light bulb.

Once any necessary site preparation work has been completed, lift installation is quick and easy using a simple bolt down system. It is then plugged into the power supply – effectively a large appliance.

The Ministry of Health and ACC purchase Pandect’s full range of low rise platform lifts including the preferred lifts covered by the Supply Agreements between Pandect and both Enable New Zealand and accessable. As well as purchasing lifts, additional services can include housing modifications associated with lift installation, repairs/servicing and lift removal (with make good).
