Indoor & Outdoor Commercial Lifts

Media Release (July 2012) - "Pandect designs and manufactures New Zealand's first and only NZS 4334:2012 compliant lift.

Pandect welcomes the introduction of a new national standard for platform and low-speed lifts (NZS 4334:2012) and believes it was important for New Zealand to have a specific standard relevant to the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC), relating to low-rise, low speed and low use lifts.

This standard is a key measure in helping to ensure fit for purpose and safe access equipment is installed in public buildings where it is expected that stairs will carry the majority of traffic, without the costs and building works associated with conventional volume moving, high rise and high speed lifts.

Pandect is the first and currrently only manuafcturer in New Zealand able to offer and supply a completely compliant NZS 4334 lift"

Pandect platform lifts are a safe, cost effective and economical solution in overcoming accessibility barriers in the ‘commercial’ environment. They are also a proven solution for building owners and authorities wanting to meet their requirements in terms of Government initiatives on access for people with disabilities.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand for over 15 years, Pandect lifts have been providing suitable means of access throughout Australasia in a wide variety of applications including commercial premises, education facilities, public buildings, heritage buildings, retail premises and outdoor facilities.

The Pandect lift is the platform lift of choice for Architects, Builders and the Health and Education sectors throughout New Zealand.

Our lifts are manufactured to meet a range of environments and settings, from our powder coated models to stainless steel finishes.

Where standard production models are not suitable or where a customised design is required, Pandect is often able to design and manufacture to suit. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
