About Us
Pandect Mobility Solutions is a competitive, flexible company, with over 25 years of experience producing a range of mobility products. Today they are well renown for producing specialist low-rise mobility and horticultural lifts.
The Pandect team are well skilled in providing robust and well-designed, quality products.
From its beginnings in 1981, this design and engineering company has specialised in the design and manufacture of prototypes, and was originally known as "Pandect Prototypes Ltd." As business grew, it became known as "Pandect Electric Vehicles".

In February 2003, as the company continued its growth and expanded into the Australian market, Low-Rise Mobility Lifts, and electronic lifts, designed to reduce the manual handling risk in industry, were developed and drove a further name change to Pandect Electric Solutions Ltd.
In 2007, the business sold again with Ian Bougen assuming control as the new Managing Director and the business became known as Pandect Mobility Solutions.
With the Company now having the tender to supply most of New Zealand with their very popular Low-rise Mobility Lifts for disabled access/home modifications as well as an ever increasing demand from the commercial sector, Australia and also the Horticultural sector, the Company looks set for significant further expansion over the coming years.

As the manufacturing side of the business continues to expand, more staff are being added to assist the very capable team of engineers already employed.
The importing side of the business also continues to expand. With Pandect being the largest distributor of Acorn Stairlifts in NZ - the world's most popular stair lift - as well as accessing a top quality range of wheelchair stair lifts, bed movers, towing equipment and other mobility products, the ability of the business to provide top quality solutions to a wide range of mobility challenges, continues to develop. |

There are numerous other products both from a manufacturing and importing perspective that the business is currently researching with a view to continuing to expand the range of products they can make available to overcome mobility and manual handling challenges.
